Meeting Room B-214/215 - Panelist Ready Room B-122

This panel will be an overview on how a label can take mix show spins and turn them into rotational adds. Some of the hottest mixers in the country will be on hand to tell you what it takes to get your record in their mix shows. Topics will also include how to get your demo into the hands of the programming department and how to turn mix show exposure into better paying gigs. We’ll also brainstorm on how to turn mix show spins into sales at retail and discuss the differences between mix show hits and those that have potential only on the dance floor. Like never before, the mix show has become the all-important step to success for our releases. Mix shows affect record sales and can put a track in the face of some of the most powerful programmers at radio.
